Bisnar Chase Proudly Announces Ian Silvers’ Recognition as a 2026 Top Labor and Employment Lawyer by the Daily Journal
Bisnar Chase is pleased to announce that partner and trial lawyer Ian Silvers has been named to the Daily Journal’s prestigious 2026 list of Top Labor and Employment Lawyers. This marks the third year Mr. Silvers has received this honor, underscoring his consistent excellence and leadership in the field.
The Daily Journal’s annual recognition highlights the most accomplished attorneys in California labor and employment law, selected through peer review and evaluation of significant case results, professional achievements, and contributions to the practice area. Inclusion on this list reflects both outstanding legal skill and a demonstrated commitment to advancing workers’ rights.
Mr. Silvers specializes in representing employees in matters involving wage and hour violations, meal and rest period issues, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, class actions, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims. As a key member of Bisnar Chase’s class action litigation and employment law departments, he has secured multiple seven-figure settlements for employee classes and successfully litigated and resolved complex matters in California state and federal courts.
Notable accomplishments include an appellate victory clarifying California Labor Code Section 925 regarding forum-selection clauses in employment agreements, as well as numerous court-approved class and PAGA settlements that have provided substantial recoveries to affected workers. Mr. Silvers is also dedicated to pro bono service, having received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Service in 2009, and he currently serves as co-chair of the Wage and Hour Committee for the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA).
Licensed to practice in all California state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts, Mr. Silvers brings both trial experience and strategic insight to every case. Clients value his ability to deliver not only favorable financial outcomes but also meaningful resolution and closure following difficult workplace experiences.
