Newport Beach Hit and Run Driver Arrested

Arrest made in Newport Beach hit and run

An arrest has been made for the woman who was involved in a hit and run in Newport Beach in April. The victim has significant injuries and was transferred to a trauma center, according to Patch.com.

Samantha Sandoval, a 21-year-old, fled the scene, but the Newport Beach Police Department found her on Tuesday and arrested her.  Later, someone found her vehicle in Fontana and towed it back to Newport Beach.  The accident happened at 22nd Street and Newport Blvd.

The police are asking for anyone with information regarding the hit and run to call the Newport Beach Police Department at 949-644-3681.
