Grossmont College

I graduated from UCSB in 2008, right in the middle of a recession. I moved to the most expensive city in the US, San Francisco, and soon found myself with less than $20 in my bank account.

After re-evaluating my circumstances, I decided to embark on a new journey and teach English abroad in South Korea. Out of the frying pan and into the fire would sum up my first year in Korea. My company withheld paychecks for months, moved me into a brothel building, and stiffed me insurance, pension, last paycheck, and bonus upon completing the contract. My work life left a lot to be desired, however, I had a great social life and decided to give Korea another year.

Fast forward 5 years I had a great job with great pay and was able to travel all over the world. Now I am enrolled in school again and ready to start a new chapter of my life as an occupational therapist.
