LAPD officials said the pedestrian was crossing the left lane of northbound Main Street when he was struck by the car and knocked onto the street. When he attempted to crawl toward the east sidewalk of Main Street, a second vehicle ran him over in the right lane and dragged him for about 15 feet until he became dislodged. Both cars failed to stop at the scene, and the drivers did not identify themselves.
Paramedics took the injured pedestrian to the hospital in stable condition. The first vehicle that knocked the pedestrian down was a dark-colored car.
