BISNAR | CHASE: The Giving Spotlight

By Brian Chase on February 21, 2011 - No comments

California personal injury law firm, BISNAR | CHASE, is made up of employees dedicated not only to providing top-notch legal services, but also to supporting the community and organizations that try to make a positive change in the world. The Giving Spotlight, a section on the BISNAR | CHASE website, highlights the ways the law firm gets involved.

BISNAR | CHASE employees volunteer in different fundraising opportunities every year. One of their favorites is adopting a couple families through the Adopt-A-Family program every holiday season. The staff comes together to provide presents and food for the adopted families, to ensure a happy holiday season even when times are tough. BISNAR | CHASE employees have volunteered at “Que’n for Kids” to help the Kristie Foundation provide assistance to critically ill children, and have also served as water patrons for Walk Like MADD 2010 to stop drunk driving.

BISNAR | CHASE makes an effort to sponsor others who are dedicating themselves for good causes. The law firm team has gotten behind one of their litigation paralegals, Sandra Smith, as she participated in the American Legion Rendezvouz Surf Fest chili cook-off that helps raise money for troops and their families. BISNAR | CHASE also sponsored Loree Glenn in her 545-mile Lifecycle bike trek to raise money for HIV/AIDS services in California, and Yulee Shafer in her 39-mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

Another way BISNAR | CHASE spurs change is by participating in and creating different programs. The law firm has employed low-income high schools students in paid summer internships to give the students experience in the field of law. BISNAR | CHASE has also recently launched the Hit & Run Reward Program with WeTip to allow community members to receive cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of drunk drivers, as well as the Viral Video Contest which provides scholarships to students who come up with the best anti-drunk and safe driving short films.

Within the office, executive assistant Danielle Olson, has raised money to donate to the Lee National Denim Day in support of breast cancer research. Furthermore, employees, Nicole Michau and Javier Ruiz, have taken it upon themselves to look out for clients with extra needs. In finding out that the family of a client BISNAR | CHASE was serving fell into a desperate situation, Nicole rallied the office to donate food and money to the family. Javier also gathered the staff at BISNAR | CHASE to provide for a client who had nothing but one set of clothes and no where to live.
