Attorney J. Michael McClure & Wife April donate Gift Basket to Joyful Foundation on Behalf of Bisnar | Chase

Attorney J. Michael McClure and his wife April have graciously donated a beautiful gift basket to the Joyful Foundation on behalf of Bisnar | Chase. The Joyful Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds to provide cancer patients with blankets. April arranged the basket because she thought that donating it for a silent auction could help the foundation with their fundraising efforts, which will be held later this month. The gift basket contained a number of items, which include sarongs, tops, lotion and sunglasses all in a big beach bag.

The Joyful Foundation distributes their fleece blankets for cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy. The cancer patients often become very cold which is where these blankets become very useful. The volunteers have noticed that patients become attached to their blankets, which supports their trademark saying "It's more than a blanket." Last year the foundation was able to distribute more than 14,000 blankets.

Once a year the Joyful Foundation has a fundraising concert and dinner with a silent and open auction. This is one of the organizations important functions that helps support their mission. Bands such as Eric Clapton and guitarist Albert Lee's band will be playing the foundations function once again.
