Hit-and-Run Reward: Why Do We Care?
In the Hit and Run Reward Program, hit-and-run rewards of up to $1,000 will be awarded for the arrest and felony conviction of hit-and-run drivers by way of anonymous tips provided through the WeTip crime hotline, 800-6-Hit-N-Run (800-644-8678).
Hit-and run-accidents have reached epidemic proportions. Each year, lawyers represent victims of hit-and-run accidents and their families whose lives have been devastated by hit-and-run drivers. The goal of the Hit-and-Run Reward Program is to wipe out hit-and-run offenses by offering cash rewards to anonymous tipsters who care enough to report these crimes.
We are utterly appalled by the inhumanity of hit-and-run drivers who flee the scene of a serious accident, leaving injured victims to suffer or die. In addition to being an advocate for hit-and-run accident victims, we have seen an increase in the number of hit-and-run driving cases it has represented in the last five years alone which prompted its partnership with WeTip and the launch of the Hit-and-Run Reward program.
