The staff and pharmacy at the hospital said they were not aware of the drug's alleged personal injury risks and did not know that a patient's heart rhythms must be closely monitored when the drug has been administered.
The hospital discontinued use of the drug immediately, explaining that the hospital's mission is "to provide superior health services in a caring environment," and that they did not know their was issue with that drug.
