One person was killed and another was critically injured in a Los Angeles car accident involving at least eight vehicles and a big rig. According to an ABC News report, the fatal traffic accident occurred the night of February 24, 2010 on the eastbound 101 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard, in Sherman Oaks. One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. One other victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Three others were injured, but the extent of their injuries is not known. California Highway Patrol officials are still investigating what caused this crash.
