Scott Ford is certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Workers' Compensation Law, and has focused his practice solely on the representation of injured workers. He has served as a Judge Pro Tem at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board and is also on the faculty of the Labor Studies Program at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where he teaches Workers' Compensation and Employee Benefits Law. Mr. Ford was recognized by Los Angeles Magazine as a SuperLawyer for his efforts in workers' compensation in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Scott Ford is currently an elected Director of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association and is a past president of the Southern California Applicants' Attorneys Association. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Workers' Compensation Section of the California State Bar. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego in 1988 and from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles with Dean's List Honors in 1993.
In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, going camping with his daughter and is very active in his sons’ participation in athletics, primarily Basketball. His ideal night out is to take his son to the Palms’ for a Steak Dinner and then to the Staples Center for a Lakers’ game.
