Causes and Liability Issues
This news article presents more questions than answers at this point. How did the accident occur? Whose fault was the crash? Did one of the large trucks rear-end the passenger car, pushing it into the other semi-truck? If that was the case, what caused the rear-end collision? Was this accident the result of an intoxicated, distracted or otherwise negligent truck driver?
Injured victims in such cases would be well-advised to consult an experienced Los Angeles personal injury lawyer, who will analyze all aspects of the crash and make sure that the negligent parties are held accountable. If the truck driver is determined to have been at-fault, both, the driver and his or her employer could be held liable for the victims' injuries. Injured victims in such cases can seek compensation to cover medical expenses, loss of wages, cost of hospitalization, rehabilitation and other related damages.
