A worker was hospitalized after suffering injuries on the job from an electric shock he received while working on an air conditioning unit. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, firefighters responded to the scene the morning of September 22, 2011. The man, who was on the roof of a business at 3309 S. Bristol Street in Santa Ana had difficulty breathing after being shocked. The man, who was in his 40s or 50s, was alert and talking to paramedics as they treated him. He was transported to an area trauma center for treatment.
