Carl Jensen, 61, was killed in a San Bernardino car accident after a motorist turned left in front of him at a street intersection in Rialto, The Press-Enterprise reports. The San Bernardino County Coroner's officials say that Jensen was riding a 2005 Road Star motorcycle west on Agua Mansa Road the afternoon of July 23, 2010, when the driver of a 1997 Buick Par Avenue sedan turned north in front of him on to Enterprise Drive. The vehicle struck the motorcycle and Jensen was critically injured. He was transported to a regional hospital where he died shortly after the crash. An investigation is ongoing. A man was injured in a car accident in Santa Barbara the morning of May 11, 2010 after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle that was leaving a shopping center. According to a KSBY news report, the collision occurred in the 3900 block of State Street. The 55-year-old motorcyclist was broadsided by another vehicle that was exiting the Five Points Shopping Center, Santa Barbara fire officials said. Nikolas Pavelic, 21, was killed in a San Francisco car accident after his motorcycle was struck by an SUV at a local intersection. The San Francisco Examiner reports that the crash occurred early morning on April 24, 2010 at the intersection of Quintara Street and 48th Avenue. San Francisco police said that Pavelic was taken to a local hospital where he died. The driver of the SUV was uninjured. David Roberts, 53, sustained major injuries in a San Francisco car accident after his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle as he attempted to pass it. According to a news report in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, Roberts was riding a 2006 Harley-Davidson on Adobe Road in East Petaluma the afternoon of March 14, 2010 behind a 2005 Honda Accord. A motorcyclist who was fatally injured in a Los Angeles car accident the afternoon of March 14, 2010 has been identified as 32-year-old Jason Stark. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that the fatal motorcycle crash occurred on Mt. Baldy Road as Stark was riding his 1999 Ducati and a 1995 Doge Ram made a U-turn in front of him. Stark was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver apparently told California Highway Patrol officials that he did not see Stark as he made a U-turn.

Christopher Pasqini, 35, and his 8-year-old daughter sustained injuries in an Oakland car accident after the motorcycle they were on was struck by a minivan at an intersection. The Oakland Tribune reports that the collision occurred the afternoon of March 11, 2010 at the intersection of 35th Avenue and California Street. Pasqini was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on 35th Avenue when a Honda Odyssey minivan driven by a 38-year-old man tried to make a left turn at the intersection and collided with the motorcycle. Fred Siller, 39, sustained critical injuries in an Anaheim car accident after his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle on the 91 Freeway near Brookhurst Street, The Orange County Register reports. The major injury motorcycle crash occurred the night of February 16, 2010 on the westbound side of the freeway. California Highway Patrol officials said Siller is still listed in critical condition. A 24-year-old motorcyclist who sustained fatal injuries in an Orange County car accident has been identified as David Tanner. The Orange County Register reports that the fatal motorcycle crash occurred the evening of December 29, 2009 at the intersection of Orangewood Avenue and Mac Nab Street when Tanner's Yamaha R1 motorcycle was struck by a BMW sedan, which turned left in front of him. A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a San Diego car accident after he was hit by an SUV on the southbound 15 Freeway in Fallbrook, the afternoon of December 19, 2009. According to a report in The Village News, a 34-year-old man was driving a Honda motorcycle on the freeway when suddenly his motorcycle lost power. He then started changing lanes to move his slowing vehicle over to the right shoulder. It was then that the rear of his motorcycle was struck by a Hummer SUV driven by a 51-year-old woman. The man was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the freeway, which caused his leg to be partially severed. The driver of the Hummer was uninjured. Michael Hughes, 26, was killed in a Riverside car accident after a driver turned in front of him on Highway 62 in Morongo Valley the afternoon of November 11, 2009. According to a news report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Hughes was riding his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle east on the highway near Samel Drive when a man driving a GMC SUV turned ahead of him. Hughes' motorcycle swerved and headed into oncoming traffic. He crashed into a Toyota Sienna and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four people were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. California Highway Patrol officials have determined that alcohol or drugs did not play a part in this fatal car accident.
