A 22-year-old man was injured in a Fullerton car accident after his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in a crosswalk. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury bicycle accident occurred at the intersection of Yorba Linda Boulevard and North Deerpark Drive, the afternoon of October 6, 2011. Fullerton police officials say the bicyclist was riding with his friend, 22-year-old Patrick Schwarz.

Both cyclists entered a crosswalk on a green light, Schwarz told officials. A Ford Escort, which was waiting to make a right turn at the intersection, waited for Schwarz to pass by, but started moving even as the other bicyclist was passing through. The Escort struck the bicyclist and continued turning right before hitting an utility pole. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The nature or extent of his injuries is not yet known.

A 6-year-old boy suffered head injuries and a broken leg in a Fullerton car accident after he was struck by a vehicle, the night of September 10, 2011. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the major injury collision occurred in the 600 block of West Maxzim Avenue while the boy was riding a bicycle. Police say a man driving a Toyota van east on Maxzim struck the boy. The child, who was not helmeted, was thrown off the bike and sustained a head injury and broken arm. An investigation is ongoing.

A 71-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were injured in an Orange County car accident that may have involved a driver veering into oncoming traffic, the afternoon of August 30, 2011. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the serious injury accident occurred on Commonwealth Avenue between Magnolia Avenue and Gilbert Street in Fullerton. Investigators are trying to determine if the 71-year-old female driver of a Dodge Charger crossed over to opposing lanes of traffic and crashed into a pickup truck and a Toyota Camry. At least two people were injured in an Orange County car accident after an elderly driver ran a red light at a street intersection. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury collision occurred at the intersection of Commonwealth and Basque avenues in Fullerton, the afternoon of June 12, 2011. Fullerton police say the driver of a Cadillac, a man in his late 70s, traveling westbound on Commonwealth ran a red light and was struck by an SUV at the intersection.

The impact of the collision pushed the Cadillac onto nearby train tracks. City workers helped pull the driver from the vehicle before an Amtrak train hit it. Both, the driver of the Cadillac and the driver of the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries. There were about 200 passengers in the train, but no one was injured. An investigation is ongoing.

Sameer Alaama, 42, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after officials say he caused a car accident in Orange County. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the accident occurred the morning of August 31, 2010 on the southbound 57 Freeway, near Rolling Hills Drive, in Fullerton. The Orange County Register reports that the fatal car accident occurred the morning of May 6, 2010 on the 57 Freeway. Beverly Frantz, 49, was killed in a Fullerton car accident after she was struck by two vehicles while walking across West Orangethorpe Avenue. The Orange County Register reports that the fatal pedestrian accident occurred the night of January 28, 2010 when Frantz was crossing in the 2600 block of Orangethorpe.
