A truck driver was injured in a Costa Mesa car accident, which officials say involved a man who was driving under the influence, the morning of November 16, 2011. According to a news article in the Daily Pilot, the truck accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Newport Boulevard at Del Mar Avenue. A Toyota 4Runner SUV driven by 29-year-old Michael Conzelman of Santa Ana hit the Coca-Cola delivery truck. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police report Conzelman was under the influence of an unknown substance, was hallucinating, and was confrontational with officers. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Costa Mesa Car Accident Injures Four
Four people were injured in a Costa Mesa car accident after three vehicles collided on the freeway. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury collision occurred the morning of July 21, 2011 on the northbound 405 Freeway near the 55 Freeway. The accident involved a Toyota Tundra, a Ford Expedition and a Scion xB. Two patients were transported to an area medical center with traumatic injuries and two others sustained relatively minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Woman Critically Injured in Orange County Car Accident

A 23-year-old female pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries in an Orange County car accident, which involved three vehicles. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the major injury car versus pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of Sunflower and Stevens avenues in Costa Mesa the morning of November 30, 2010.
Police say a 17-year-old male, who was driving west on Sunflower, ran a red light at the intersection and hit two vehicles. The pedestrian, who was standing at the corner, was struck by flying debris from the vehicles. The woman sustained severe head trauma and was transported to a local hospital. Costa Mesa Car Accident Causes Injuries
A pregnant woman was injured in a Costa Mesa car accident that involved several vehicles on the 55 Freeway the morning of April 29, 2010. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, three vehicles were in the slow lane when one of the vehicles rear-ended the other. The car crash occurred in the northbound lanes of the Costa Mesa Freeway and involved a Honda Element, a Subaru Outback and a Toyota 4Runner.
