A motorcyclist was severely injured in an Anaheim car accident, which officials say involved at least two other vehicles. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury collision occurred the afternoon of July 25, 2011 in the eastbound lanes of the 91 Freeway near Gypsum Canyon Road. California Highway Patrol officials say the motorcyclist was dragged for 30 feet in a Fastrak lane. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

My heart goes out to the injured motorcyclist who has apparently suffered life-threatening injuries. I wish him or her the very best for a speedy and complete recovery. Please keep the victim in your thoughts and prayers.

Two people sustained injuries in an Orange County car accident, which involved two vehicles. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury car accident occurred on the Brookhurst Street on-ramp to the westbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim the morning of February 9, 2011. The car accident involved a Dodge Dakota pickup truck and a Toyota Camry. It appears that the Toyota Camry was rear-ended by the Dodge. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

According to California Highway Patrol's 2008 Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS), there were 21 fatalities and 2,018 injuries involving Anaheim car accidents. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in an Anaheim car accident while he was attempting to cross a major city roadway. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury pedestrian accident occurred the morning of December 23, 2010 in the 900 block of Harbor Boulevard near Vermont Boulevard. Police say the boy was not in a crosswalk and was attempting to dart across the roadway. He was hit by a northbound Honda Civic. The boy was severely injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

A female driver and a child were injured in an Orange County car accident that involved two vehicles. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury car accident occurred at the intersection of Western Avenue and Lindacita Lane the morning of October 12, 2010. A Lexus IS300 collided with a Chrysler Town and Country minivan. The impact of the car accident caused the minivan to roll over. A 23-year-old man was fatally injured in an Anaheim car accident after he was hit by a vehicle while changing a tire on the northbound shoulder of the 57 Freeway. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the victim had pulled over to the shoulder of the freeway to change the tire early morning on August 29, 2010. California Highway Patrol officials say that was when another vehicle entering the 57 from the 91 Express lanes struck the man. The victim died at the scene. An investigation is ongoing. Authorities have identified a woman killed in a multi-vehicle car accident in Anaheim as 46-year-old Isabel Tizapan Ortega. The Orange County Register reports that Ortega's daughter sustained critical injuries in this July 15, 2010 street intersection crash. Anaheim police say the accident occurred at the intersection of East Miraloma Avenue and North Blue Gum Street when a 2005 Nissan sedan driven by Tizapan was struck by a 1997 blue Chevy pickup truck. A woman sustained injuries in an Anaheim car accident after she was hit by a vehicle, while crossing at a freeway on-ramp the morning of April 26, 2010. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury collision occurred when the woman was walking on Brookhurst Street at the eastbound 91 Freeway on-ramp. She was struck by a Honda Civic. Anaheim police officials said the woman was knocked to the pavement and hit her face. Authorities are investigating this accident. Five people sustained injuries in an Anaheim car accident after two vehicles collided head-on the night of March 22, 2010. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the injury crash occurred on Santa Ana Canyon Road between Festival and Mohler drives, when a westbound 2001 Toyota Sequoia drifted in to opposing lanes and struck a 2005 Toyota Highlander. The driver of the Highlander suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area trauma center. The driver of the Sequoia sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. A man sustained injuries in an Anaheim car accident after his vehicle was hit by a suspected drunk driver the morning of March 10, 2010. Fred Siller, 39, sustained critical injuries in an Anaheim car accident after his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle on the 91 Freeway near Brookhurst Street, The Orange County Register reports. The major injury motorcycle crash occurred the night of February 16, 2010 on the westbound side of the freeway. California Highway Patrol officials said Siller is still listed in critical condition.
