Blair Marcus Proulx, 51, was killed in a Santa Clarita motorcycle accident the evening of October 5, 2012, and his family members are still searching for answers as to how or why this tragedy occurred. According to a news report in The Signal, the fatal motorcycle crash happened in a residential neighborhood on Alta Knoll Drive near Elder Creek Drive. Officials are looking into everything from whether Proulx suffered a medical condition, to whether he may have hit something on the side of the street. Officials say he was not going fast at the time of the crash. So far, investigators do not believe that any other vehicles were involved. The investigation is still ongoing.
I offer my deepest condolences to the family members and friends of Blair Marcus Proulx, who apparently died less than a week before his 52nd birthday. Please keep his grieving family members in your thoughts and prayers.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Kirk Petersen was injured in a Santa Clarita car accident after his patrol car was hit by a male juvenile driver at a street intersection. According to a KHTS news report, the collision occurred on April 28, 2012 at the intersection of Auto Center Drive and Magic Mountain Parkway in Valencia. Officials say Petersen was making a left turn on a green light from southbound Auto Center Drive onto eastbound Magic Mountain Parkway when he collided with a Lexus driven by a 16-year-old.
The teenager had a male juvenile passenger and was headed north through the intersection after exiting the Valencia Town Center Mall. Petersen suffered non-life-threatening head injuries including lacerations and a possible concussion. The teens in the Lexus were uninjured. Petersen was transported to a local hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing.
My thoughts and prayers are with Kirk Petersen as he recovers from his injuries. I wish him the very best for a quick and full recovery.
