Mission Viejo mother Loree Glenn has finished her gargantuan bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, an unimaginable 545 miles, and has already signed herself up for next year's AidsLifecycle ride, which will be her fifth year in a row participating. Loree rode in support of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and our team here at Bisnar | Chase has been proud to support her efforts.
From Start to Finish
The week-long journey took Loree across California's beautiful terrain, up and down mountains, and across sprawling beaches. The days of the ride broke down into:
- Day 1: San Francisco to Santa Cruz (82.5 miles)
- Day 2: Santa Cruz to King City (106.1 miles)
- Day 3: King City to Paso Robles (66.7 miles)
- Day 4: Paso Robles to Santa Maria (97.7 miles)
- Day 5: Santa Maria to Lompoc (40.2 miles)
- Day 6: Lompoc to Ventura (85.5 miles)
- Day 7: Ventura to Los Angeles (61.5 miles)
Aidslifecycle.org says of the last day, "You will complete your journey with a turn away from the coast and nice pedal through Santa Monica on your way to the Closing Ceremonies site."
What Loree Had to Say
"I knew what to expect this time, so it wasn’t as difficult in that respect, I really enjoy being among the ALC community," Loree said. She continued, "Doing this ride is my way of giving back and as long as I can ride I will continue to support the community."
Loree is excited to continue participating in this exceptional event, and us here at the firm will continue to support her in her quest to rid the world of AIDS. Congratulations Loree on a ride well done. We'll see you next year!
