The major injury pedestrian accident occurred in the 100 block of East Huntington Drive in Arcadia, when a vehicle heading east on Huntington struck the man. The victim, who has not yet been identified, and described only as a man in his 40s, sustained head trauma and a broken collar bone. He was transported to a local hospital where he is said to be in stable condition. The 21-year-old driver of the car was uninjured. She was not cited pending an official investigation.
