Other important auto safety issues that Public Citizen has tirelessly campaigned and lobbied for include, reducing truck drivers' hours; new auto safety legislation in connection with failure of seatbelts in rollover crashes; and helping reverse an auto safety regulation that allowed the installation of ineffective tire monitoring gauges. This is only a sampling of Public Citizen's accomplishments, for which, all Americans should be grateful.
