Adopt a Pantry Jan 2013:
Bisnar | Chase, Second Harvest Food Bank & Rock Church of Orange.

Our January food drive was a great success!

Teaming with Second Harvest Food Bank; Rock Church in Orange delivered 9000 pounds of food for those in need.

This program matches up volunteer groups with agencies. The agency promotes the 2 hour large scale distribution. Second Harvest brings a big truck full of food directly to the distribution location. The volunteer group(s) do all the work! People from all over Orange County come out for fresh vegetables, canned goods and dairy products.

Bisnar |  Chase staff and their families along with Second Harvest and Rock Church spent the day delivering fresh produce and quality foods to people in need.

And, we have our Lakers tickets winner!

Sara is a HUGE Lakers fan as is her mother, and today she was beaming as she and a volunteer from AbilityFirst picked up her tickets.  Sonia, who works for AbilityFirst saw the drawing on Facebook and entered the contest on behalf of her organization, and Sara won in our random drawing.

It brings us great joy to see Sara enjoy attending a LIVE Lakers game, and by Sonia entering, she certainly made Sara’s day!   Sara will be going to the game on Jan 27th at the Staples Center with her mother.

More tickets to come! The competition to enter the drawing was open to anyone with connection to a special needs child who liked and commented on our Lakers post. Be sure to follow our Facebook page so you can enter our drawings!

This month we are looking for our academic hero!

 Nominate your student or child with straight A’s to win two Lakers tickets to the Staples Center and enjoy a day of basketball on us!  This program awards prizes to exceptional kids, special needs children and others who are heroes in their own life or community!

HOW TO ENTER

1. Simply come to our Facebook wall and like our page
2. Leave a comment of  “academic hero!”
3. Send a copy of your student/child’s latest report card to communityhero@BestAttorney.com.

That’s it! We’ll pick a random winner by draw and notify them on Facebook.

Terms:  winner will be notified via their Facebook email and on our Facebook wall. Child or teen between the ages of 12 and 17 will be given 2 Lakers tickets and must be accompanied by an adult guardian to the event. You must provide your own transportation to and from the game in Los Angeles to the Staples Center. To retrieve the tickets, the winning child and adult/guardian must pick up the tickets at our office in Newport Beach.  We will post a photo of the winners picking up their tickets on our Giving Back wall on our website. Length of competition will go on through regular basketball season.

We would love for you to send us pictures of your child’s special day. We’ll post them on our Facebook wall and tag you in them.

Special Needs Kids and Teens Lakers Ticket Giveaway!

Do you know a special needs child that would enjoy going to a Lakers game? We can make that happen. We are giving away a pair of tickets a month to a deserving special needs child to see the Lakers live at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Bisnar | Chase Personal Injury Attorneys located in Newport Beach does a lot for our local charities.  From food donations to the Aids Walk, to helping a deserving special needs child enjoy a great day of basketball!

We are BIG Lakers fans here at Bisnar | Chase and want you to enjoy a great day at one of their Home games! This give away is simple: 2 tickets will be awarded to one special needs child and an accompanying adult in a random monthly drawing during the regular season.

Today was a very special day for the staff of Bisnar | Chase Personal Injury Attorneys, LLP.  In a coordinated effort we provided 80 turkeys to present and past servicemen and women at March Air Reserve base in Riverside, California. This effort coincides with our previous turkey donation program of 1,000 turkeys handed out this month.

The turkeys were supplied to the following units below:

John Bisnar, founder and managing partner of Bisnar | Chase, is passionate about helping others in our community and giving back.  John served active duty in the U.S. Army in the Pacific and South East Asia from 1968 to 1970 and holds a special place in his heart for our military members.

The food donation effort today in Riverside County was a follow-up to over 500 turkeys that Bisnar | Chase provided this past Monday in Orange County to those in need through a coordinated effort with Connected Blessings.  The staff was on hand to give out the turkeys in Anaheim and another donation is set for this Saturday, Nov. 17th to supply 500 more to those in need.

Hunger is a big issue close to home:  We hope by creating and supporting food donation programs that we can help make a big difference in the lives of others. We  hope everyone has a safe and joyous Thanksgiving holiday.
