Angela McGowan and another 18-year-old woman were killed the morning of October 17, 2009 in a San Bernardino car accident, after their car was hit by another vehicle on the 15 Freeway in Ontario, California, according to a news report in the San Bernardino Sun. McGowan was with three other women inside a Honda Accord, which was parked in the emergency lane of the freeway, when a Ford Taurus rear-ended them. McGowan and another teenager were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other women in the Honda were hospitalized in critical condition. No information is available about the driver of the Taurus and whether he or she was charged in connection with this fatal car accident.
