Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Hit-and-Run Collision
June 20th, 2010 | JoyceA major injury pedestrian accident in the Torrey Pines area of San Diego was caused by a bicyclist who struck a woman and fled the scene, officials say. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the 22-year-old woman was walking a dog the night of June 13, 2010 when she was hit from behind by a bicyclist. She was knocked to the ground and hit her head. The bicyclist left the site of the collision. The woman went home. But after a few hours she admitted herself to a hospital where it was determined that she had suffered double skull fracture. No description of the suspect is available.
I hope and pray that this pedestrian's injuries were not serious. I wish her the very best for a quick and full recovery from her injuries.
