Orange County Car Accident Injures Five

By Admin on November 25, 2009 - No comments

Five people sustained injuries in a car accident in Orange County involving several vehicles including a double-decker bus. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the accident occurred November 23, 2009 on the southbound 5 Freeway at Oso Parkway in Mission Viejo. California Highway Patrol officials said there were no passengers on the 32-foot bus. Four other vehicles were involved in this accident. Around the same time two vehicles went into the right shoulder of the freeway after a truck driver hit the center divider on the 5 Freeway near Crown Valley Parkway. CHP officials believe the crashes on Oso Parkway and Crown Valley Parkway may be related. Fortunately, none of the injuries was said to be life-threatening.

I'm relieved that no one sustained major injuries in this accident that involved so many people and vehicles. I wish those who were injured the very best for a quick and complete recovery.

Orange County Car Accident Statistics

This news report has very little information about how or why this injury accident occurred. The biggest question in such accidents usually is: Who was at fault? In such cases the at-fault party or parties can be held liable for the accident and resulting injuries. Injured victims in these crashes may seek compensation to cover medical expenses, loss of earnings, physical therapy and other related costs.
