Authorities have identified 67-year-old Jose Elizondo as the victim of an Orange County car accident that occurred the afternoon of January 15, 2010. The Orange County Register reports that the fatal car crash occurred on the 5 Freeway in San Juan Capistrano near the Junipero Serra Road off-ramp, when the Ford Taurus driven by Elizondo clipped a Nissan Sentra. The Taurus then went off the roadway, rolled over and landed on a clump of cactus. A female passenger in the Ford was taken to an area hospital with injuries. Occupants in the Sentra were uninjured.
