I live right around the corner from this innocent 4 year old that's life was taken from. At least she is in a better place then what we deal with on the daily. Parents need to pay more attention to their kids and safety and why the little girl was out late who knows but whoever did this should do the max time so other people will get the message and learn from this. It's gross negligence on the part of all parents that do this. It's horrible what happened and my heart goes out to the family but you cannot leave children unattended in a large apartment complex to fend for themselves. I lived in amberway and there are kids as young as 3 years old running around that complex every night - many nights after 11pm without any adult supervision.
