The personal injury lawyers at BISNAR | CHASE have had the privilege to know and work with two interns from Chapman University this summer. In late May, the two scholars, Trey Cannon and Anthony Garilli, joined the BISNAR | CHASE team to help on a number of high profile cases. During their internship, they have increased their knowledge of law, gained valuable hands on work experience, and provided tremendous support to our team. Their presence has greatly helped us.
Trey Cannon
Trey Cannon came across the BISNAR | CHASE internship while researching some of the top law firms in and around Orange County. When he came across BISNAR | CHASE he was eager to contact the firm. After a lengthy interview process, Trey was initiated into a three-month internship.
"I came to BISNAR | CHASE because they offered a chance to have more responsibility then merely copying and filing documents," Said Trey. "I was going to get to do some hands on legal research and document preparation experience by coming here."
This is Trey's first internship but he has had some experience working in a law firm. Trey's father is the managing partner of an Austin, Texas law firm where he used to work during high school. During his internship, he has learned numerous research skills working closely with our litigation department.
Trey will be entering his senior year at Chapman college as an undergraduate. He plans to attend law school to become an entertainment lawyer. He would like to work as a sports or entertainment agent and represent clients in contract negotiations.
Anthony Garilli
Anthony Garilli found BISNAR | CHASE during his first year of law school while taking Torts I in 2008. He did some research on which firms were the best personal injury firms in Southern California and put BISNAR | CHASE on the top of his list. He began reading Mr. Bisnar's blogs and decided he was going to work for this firm. Two years later he contacted BISNAR | CHASE and interviewed for the three-month summer internship program.
"There isn't enough time in a day to write what I've learned at BISNAR | CHASE," said Anthony. "This internship has allowed me to learn everything they don't teach you in law school."
This is Anthony's second internship. After finishing law school, he has decided to work as a personal injury lawyer. Anthony's commitment and assistance at BISNAR | CHASE has led to a part-time job. During his last year of school, Anthony will work as a part-time employee assisting our pre-litigation team.
Both Anthony and Trey exceeded our high expectations during their stay at BISNAR | CHASE. They have continuously displayed visible results, commitment, perseverance, creativity and compassionate character. We consider ourselves fortunate to have had two incredible interns working hard to fight for injured victims.
