The Bisnar | Chase personal injury lawyers would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's Rendezvous Surf Fest a success.
The event, which took place last July 18, 2009, featured surf bands, vintage cars and a chilli cook-off to support our U.S. troops. The hugely popular Surf Fest was staged by the Sons of the American Legion Post 291 located at 215 15th Street, Newport Beach (Balboa Peninsula), with Bisnar | Chase as a Platinum-Level Sponsor.

An Endless Summer of Hot Music, Food and Movies
This year's event featured the hottest surf groups in the country performing classic favorites such as The Fabulous Nomads, The Surfaris, The Chantays, HONK and Adrian Tapa on sax. Attendees also enjoyed classic surf movies celebrating the soul surfer such as Endless Summer and Five Summer Stories.
Food lovers meantime got more than their fill with the Surf Fest's delicious food options. Newport's favorite restaurants hosted chili and barbecue booths and a total of 40 food booths, including a Beer Garden, catered to attendees.
Some Like It Hot
Surf Fest attendees also got a chance to tantalize their taste buds with Bisnar | Chase paralegal and Legion Post 291 Auxiliary member Sandy Smith's famous chili. The event was Smith's first-ever chili cook-off and she didn't disappoint, whipping up some family favorites that were not too hot and full of flavor. Sandy's chili won the trophy for third place in the chili cook-off!
Car aficionados meantime also got an eyeful with the festival's Classic Car Show which featured about 30 classic cars and hot rods from the Surf Era, including Woodies, Nomads, Vettes and Surf Buses with Bisnar | Chase featuring a classic 1941 Ford Pickup with a gleaming chartreuse paint job.
