San Diego Car Accident Injures School Bus Driver
One person was injured in a San Diego car accident on the Interstate 805 after a school bus was rear-ended by another vehicle. According to a 10news report, the bus was struck in the southbound lanes of the freeway near State Route 163, the morning of September 28, 2010. The bus then went off the roadway shoulder and crashed into a tree. One of the drivers was injured, but it is not clear which one. It appears that the school bus driver may have been injured because there was extensive damage to the front of the bus. Fortunately, there were no students on board. An investigation is ongoing. Guilty Verdict in Nick Adenhart DUI Hit-and-Run Car Accident Case
A 23-year-old man was found guilty of murder for the DUI hit-and-run car accident, which killed Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others on April 9, 2009. According to a news report in the Los Angeles Times, Andrew Thomas Gallo was found guilty of three counts of second-degree murder, felony DUI and felony hit-and-run. He now faces a sentence of 55 years to life in prison. Motorcyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident

A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident, which officials say, was caused by the driver of a Chevy Suburban who ran a stop sign. According to a news report in the Lake County Record-Bee, the fatal motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 29 and Seigler Canyon Road the morning of September 24, 2010. San Diego Pedestrian Accident Causes Major Injuries
A man who was critically injured in a pedestrian accident in Oceanside has been identified by authorities as 53-year-old William Merrick. The North County Times reports that the accident occurred the night of September 15, 2010 at the intersection of Coast Highway and Civic Center Drive. Merrick was walking in a marked crosswalk at the intersection when he was struck by a 2006 Chrysler driven by Francisco Arreola, 20, that was trying to turn on to the highway. A pedestrian was seriously injured in a San Diego car accident the morning of September 14, 2010. The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the hit-and-run car accidentcrash happened near the intersection of Oak Street and Carlsbad Boulevard in Carlsbad when a Chrysler Sebring struck the male pedestrian. Car Accident Proves Fatal for Motorcyclist

Stephen Wimmer, 50, was killed in a September 21, 2010 car accident in Glenn County after his 1980 Harley Davidson was struck by a vehicle that was making a left turn at an intersection. According to a report in the Colusa Sun-Herald, Wimmer was riding westbound on County Road 7 near Interstate 5, when he collided with a 2004 Toyota sedan. California Highway Patrol officials say 61-year-old Eila Arbuckle, the driver of the Toyota, was traveling east on the roadway, and made a left turn in front of Wimmer's motorcycle. Wimmer was thrown off the motorcycle and transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after the crash. No citations have been issued or arrests made, pending an official investigation. According to a news report in the Ventura County Star, the fatal crash occurred the night of September 19, 2010, when Hoyt's vehicle veered into oncoming traffic on Highway 18 near Victorville and hit the milk tanker. The impact of the collision caused Hoyt's car to strike another vehicle driven by 49-year-old Hector Molano Navarro. Mohtadi was transported to an area hospital with major injuries. San Bernardino Car Accident Kills Man
Americo Aucaruri , 53, was killed in a San Bernardino car accident after he was rear-ended by another vehicle on the 10 Freeway. According to a news report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Aucaruri was driving a Jeep Cherokee westbound on the freeway the evening of September 18, 2010, when he was struck from behind by another vehicle near the Etiwanda Avenue overpass. The Jeep rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop. Three passengers in the Jeep were also injured and transported to a local hospital.
