WeTip Names John Bisnar Outstanding Achievement Award Recipient

John Bisnar, founding partner of the California personal injury law firm of BISNAR | CHASE (www.BestAttorney.com ) and a 32-year law veteran, has been named an Outstanding Achievement Award recipient by WeTip, a leading anonymous crime reporting service and law enforcement advocacy non-profit organization. WeTip named Bisnar a recipient of this prestigious award based on his crime prevention efforts and commitment to WeTip's non-profit initiatives. Bisnar will be presented with the award at the 37th Annual WeTip National Crime-fighting Conference on Friday, April 23, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Ontario Airport in Ontario, California.
Bisnar, a long-standing victims' rights advocate, began working closely with WeTip after his firm, BISNAR | CHASE, witnessed an increase in the number of hit-and-run driving cases it represents, in addition to a dramatic overall increase of hit-and-run driving offenses in the state of California in recent years. In March 2010, BISNAR | CHASE, in conjunction with WeTip, launched the Hit-and-Run Reward® Program designed to wipe out California hit-and-run offenses by offering an anonymous reporting system and cash reward program to people who care enough to report hit-and-run crimes.

Bisnar is a native of Southern California and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended college on the G.I. Bill, graduated cum laude from California State University, Long Beach with a B.S. Degree in Finance/Investments in 1974 and received his JD degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1978. He was admitted to the California State Bar in July 1978 and shortly after, graduated from Pepperdine University College of Trial Advocacy. To date, he has represented 6,124 personal injury clients with a 97.8% success record, having recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for catastrophically injured accident victims and the families of deceased accident victims.
In 2009, Avvo.com, an online attorney rating service, gave Bisnar a "perfect 10" score and "superb" rating based on his background, years of experience as a personal injury lawyer, successful track record, impeccable reputation with clients and peers, and professional accomplishments. Earlier this year, he was named a 2010 Top Southern California Attorney by Los Angeles Magazine and a 2010 Southern California Super Lawyer by Orange Coast Magazine, three years running. The Hit-and-Run Reward Program launched by BISNAR | CHASE in conjunction with WeTip last month, is a program that funds hit-and-run rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and felony conviction of hit-and-run drivers who have caused serious personal injury by way of anonymous tips provided through the Hit-and-Run Reward website, HitandRunReward.com, or through the Hit-and-Run Reward hotline at 800-6-Hit-N-Run (800-644-8678).
