Bisnar | Chase Teams Up with SOS to Adopt Two Families for Christmas

As it has for many years, the Bisnar | Chase Personal Injury Law Firm (www.BestAttorney.com) will adopt two needy families for Christmas through the Share Our Selves (SOS) annual Adopt A Family program.
Employees of the Newport Beach-based law firm will donate gifts, gift certificates and food to brighten the holidays of families in need. "Every year, we adopt two families who would not have a happy Christmas if it weren't for the generous people who choose to participate in this wonderful program," said Bisnar | Chase founder, John Bisnar. "This year, we'll be adopting two, four-person families -- mother, father and two children - -for the holidays."
Shoes, Clothes, Toys, and a Turkey Dinner
Donated items typically include shoes, clothes, toys, and food to make sure each family has a Christmas they can enjoy and remember. "We make sure the family has a great holiday, complete with presents for all and a delicious turkey dinner," noted Danielle Olson, Bisnar | Chase Executive Assistant and Adopt A Family project coordinator. "We provide these families with gifts, gift certificates and toys. We also remain anonymous and package the children's toys on behalf of their parents."
Over 750 SOS Volunteers in Orange County
Share Our Selves selected the local Orange County families for Bisnar | Chase based on need. In some cases, the law firm has helped much larger families. SOS is comprised of over 750 volunteers in Orange County who provide free assistance to those in need of basic living essentials. These include social and medical services, as well as dental services throughout the year. The annual holiday Adopt A Family tradition is designed to brighten the Christmas of these needy families.
Adopt A Family Goal for 2009: Help 1,650 Families with Children
This holiday season marks the 40th year for the SOS Annual Adopt A Family program. This outstanding holiday tradition has helped thousands of struggling Orange County families. This year, Adopt A Family hopes to help more than 1,650 families with children. Families are recommended to SOS by Costa Mesa and Santa Ana schools.
How to Adopt A Family
Adopt A Family participants are asked to provide each child in the chosen family with at least two new gifts, or provide the family with a complete holiday dinner, or preferably, both. Companies and individuals who are interested in Adopting A Family are urged to download the form and email it to AAF2009(at)shareourselves(dot)org or fax it to 949-515-5804.
