BISNAR CHASE Donates 750 Turkeys to OC Residents in Need

The California Personal Injury Attorneys of BISNAR CHASE (http://www.BestAttorney.com) handed out 750 Thanksgiving turkeys this week to people in need through their affiliation with Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
Members of the BISNAR CHASE staff were on-hand Monday at Connected Blessings and Tuesday at Vineyard Christian both of Anaheim to distribute turkeys and other food items as part of the firm's commitment to helping the hungry in Orange County.
"Our firm sponsored a mobile food bank earlier this year in conjunction with Second Harvest," said John Bisnar, founder of BISNAR CHASE who also assisted in distributing food to local individuals and families. "We saw the families in Orange County who don't have enough food. It was overwhelming. We simply wanted to help. We don't want people to go hungry."
The Orange County Epidemic of Hunger
Hunger is an epidemic that affects people from all demographics. There are an estimated 615,000 individuals who struggle with hunger in Orange County and of these people, 77% of them do not qualify for government food assistance programs and rely on food banks for meals.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, a member of Feeding America, is the largest private hunger relief organization in the county, partnering with more than 470 charitable organizations to feed an average of 240,000 people each month. Since 1983, Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County has distributed more than 272 million pounds of safe and nutritious surplus food. "When we decided to become involved with helping to feed the needy in Orange County, we checked out the various agencies providing food to Orange County's less fortunate," said Bisnar. "In our opinion, Second Harvest seemed to doing the best job in converting donations into meals, so we chose to partner with them. They have been great to work with. We are very grateful to Second Harvest for making it easy for us to efficiently and effectively provide meals to fellow residents of Orange County."
